“Victory is
reserved for those who are willing to pay for its price” – Sun Tzu
Good morning one and all, today let me
introduce you to a topic that many people rarely realize or even care about,
The kind of people who dared to oppose the world and how their valiant effort
are what saved us. Our history books, mythologies, movies and every story
fiction or non-fiction we’ve learned of are filled with characters like them.
We just had not realized of this fact and went on with our daily lives like
always. If we had taken a moment and thought about their significance, we would
have realized that these people who oppose the world are the ones who caused
the most significant changes in the world. The greatest example for this is the
formation of the organizations with a 193 countries as active participants, the
United Nations. The reason why the United Nations was formed was because of one
man who was the pivotal reason to start the greatest war that hauled in all the
other nations of the world. Adolf Hitler, the fuhrer of Nazi Germany who caused
large scale massacre as a part of his beliefs. Although the world turns him out
into the villain of the century he was no different than any other dictators or
conquerors that came before him. But what sets him apart was that, he managed
to unify the world under a single goal to eliminate him and restore peace to
the war ridden world. Even though his ideals were fascistic and were the
epitome of racism, he managed to brew a storm that would rage and usher a new
age for the world. The story of our world would have been completely dreadful
if he had gained power, but due to his efforts and playing his part as the
villain to the whole world, all the other allied nations were able to come to a
consensus to end war between countries forever. There are many such people in
our history books, who by their actions get perceived as great evil, but might
in fact had contributed the most so that people would take action by themselves
and not just be fed with all the nonsense by power-hungry politicians. We must
not vilify them; instead look at them as our predecessor who made many mistakes
due to mistaken ideology and beliefs. We must try to learn from them and try
not to make the same mistakes as they had once created.
